Sweet Home Alabama

I absolutely cannot wait for football season! I attended the Alabama A-Day game this weekend and it did not disappoint. I haven't been since 2002. My grandpa always took me and he passed away the day of the A-Day game in 2003. This year I decided I should just go and do it, and boy am I happy I did! My sister, her boyfriend, my brother and Todd went. We had a blast. The Walk of Champions was just as good as game day. Also, I got to watch the unveiling of the Nick Saban statue. At halftime they had the quarter back challenge and some of the old quarterbacks and recievers were there at halftime which was nice. Now I just have to wait impatiently for 137 more days until football starts!

Gone But Not Forgotten

Yesterday would have been my Uncle Steven's birthday, he would have been 39. It is hard for me to write this because I know that he is gone. The hole he leaves behind is so very large. I know God has a greater plan and one day we will meet again.

What a Weekend

Weekends go by way too fast. Everything you need to do while you have time all gets thrown in 2 days. It just never last long enough. My little cousin Stella had her 5th birthday this weekend and within 5 minutes of being there Cyrus broke his little leg.

He gets to use this little wheel chair for at least 2 weeks until he gets another X-Ray. I cannot even keep up with him in this thing. He can move it very fast by himself.

We kept Veda this weekend since Cyrus needed a lot of attention. She loves to sleep over with her Auntie Lakie!

Happy Birthday!

Today is my grandmother's birthday so I had to bring her cupcakes. She is 70 years old and still kicking! We didn't do too much since she is still recovering from surgery but she did enjoy her cupcakes!

It's A New Day

I've never been into the idea of blogging. Today I think I will begin a new adventure and give it a try. Who knows, it may be more fun than I could have ever imagined. Yeah, probably not. The important thing is I'm trying it out. We will see how it goes. It will be an adventure for everyone!
